iExec launches 1M $RLC fund to support AI and DePIN developers

by April 23, 2025
written by April 23, 2025

iExec, the platform serving as the trust layer for DePIN and AI, has launched a 1 million $RLC ecosystem fund to support Web3 projects across emerging sectors.

The fund will deploy both dilutive and non-dilutive capital to back teams building novel decentralized solutions, particularly in areas involving AI, data privacy, and decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN).

This initiative aligns with iExec’s broader mission to advance blockchain development by equipping builders with privacy-preserving tools and infrastructure for secure, decentralized computing.

The fund emphasises support for projects that leverage confidential computing and prioritise user privacy, core tenets of iExec’s platform.

The launch comes shortly after iExec’s strategic buyback of its native $RLC token, underscoring the platform’s commitment to long-term ecosystem growth.

In addition to DePIN, AI, and DeFi, iExec is seeking developers building solutions involving RWAs, SoFi, and privacy-preserving infrastructure.

In addition to capital, selected projects will gain access to iExec’s development tools, SDKs, and technical mentorship to accelerate product development and market readiness.

Nathan Chiron, Chief Revenue Officer at iExec, stated:

“We invest in conviction, not consensus, and with the launch of the RLC Ecosystem Fund, we’re confident we can add real value by backing the builders defining the future of AI and DePIN, one that puts privacy first. More than just an investment, the fund is a catalyst for meaningful impact and real-world adoption.”

Beyond financial support, iExec will offer grantees access to strategic partnerships, technical resources, and the recently formed AI Unbundled Alliance—an industry initiative aimed at supporting the development of decentralized AI infrastructure.

The fund is positioned as a launchpad for high-impact Web3 projects, with a focus on privacy-centric innovation, and is open to applications from teams working to drive adoption across the decentralized ecosystem.
