MUTM or XRP? which crypto could bring higher returns over the next 12 months

With investors looking for the next big opportunity in the market, two names are sparking fresh interest: XRP and Mutuum Finance (MUTM).

While both offer unique value, the real question is: over the next 12 months, which one is positioned to deliver stronger returns? Here’s what experts and recent developments suggest.

XRP’s price outlook over the next year

XRP has been gaining attention again, thanks to growing institutional interest and renewed optimism surrounding its long-term role in cross-border payments. Currently trading around $2.46, XRP has been showing signs of stabilizing after a period of volatility.

Several analysts suggest that XRP is preparing for a measured rebound, targeting $3 in the coming months. Some projections even point to a move toward the $4–$5 range by early 2026. While this would represent a respectable 60%–100% increase from current levels, it remains relatively modest when compared to what’s being forecasted for early-stage tokens with strong utility.

The momentum around XRP is mostly driven by macro trends, including potential ETF approvals and expanding utility through Ripple’s international partnerships. That said, with XRP already among the top cryptos by market cap, many believe its upside over the next year may be somewhat capped compared to lesser-known, growing projects.

Mutuum Finance (MUTM)

Mutuum Finance is still in its early stages, but its progress has quickly captured the attention of experienced investors.

The protocol is building a decentralized lending and borrowing platform where users can supply assets to earn passive income or borrow against their crypto without selling it.

On top of this, the team is developing an overcollateralized stablecoin that will operate directly within the ecosystem.

Unlike XRP, Mutuum is still in presale mode, with the token currently priced at just $0.02.

More than $4.8 million has already been raised, and the project has gained over 6,700 holders—an early sign of growing traction.

The third phase of the presale is nearing 75% completion, and the next phase will bring a 25% price jump to $0.025.

This time-sensitive window is generating real FOMO among buyers.

Shortly after its launch, analysts expect MUTM to surge between 1,000% and 1,500% as the platform goes live with its beta version.

That kind of movement would take the price into the $0.20–$0.30 range within a few weeks. But the longer-term forecast is where things get really interesting.

Over a one-year span, many experts believe MUTM could reach $10 or more. This would reflect a 49,900% increase from its current $0.02 price.

That growth isn’t based on speculation alone—it’s tied to utility, demand, and how the protocol functions.

One of the standout mechanisms is its buy-and-distribute model, where a portion of the platform’s revenue is used to purchase MUTM tokens from the open market and redistribute them to mtToken holders.

This approach creates steady buy pressure and rewards ongoing participation, making the token more attractive for long-term supporters.

As more investors discover MUTM and its real-world use cases, demand is expected to accelerate.

Additionally, the token is expected to be listed on major exchanges, a move that could significantly boost its visibility, improve liquidity, and contribute to upward price momentum.

To put things in perspective: a $1,000 investment at the current $0.02 price would secure 50,000 MUTM tokens.

If the price hits $10, that investment would be worth $500,000. Even at a more conservative $5 level, that would translate to a 24,900% return.

While XRP may offer steady progress over the next year, Mutuum Finance is emerging as the token with far greater upside potential.

With its presale window still open, strong fundamentals, and a clear roadmap that includes lending, borrowing, and stablecoin functionality, MUTM is more than a speculative bet—it’s a growing ecosystem backed by smart tokenomics and strong incentives.

For those looking to diversify into a token that blends early-stage entry with practical utility, MUTM may just be the one you’ll be glad you picked early.
