SHIB price could surge 300% by September 2025 — while Mutuum Finance (MUTM) targets $1 by then

As crypto markets gear up for the second half of 2025, analysts are watching two very different assets for signs of breakout potential: Shiba Inu (SHIB), a meme-born token with mainstream traction, and Mutuum Finance (MUTM), a DeFi protocol in its early stages with major upside ahead.

While SHIB holds the spotlight due to speculative momentum, the quiet rise of MUTM is drawing attention for its fundamentals and long-term positioning.

SHIB eyes a 300% rally by September

Shiba Inu has been forecasted to potentially gain as much as 300% by September 2025, according to various crypto analysts.

Despite its price currently hovering near $0.00001240, sentiment has remained speculative, with expectations centered around seasonal accumulation and potential ecosystem developments.

This projected increase would push SHIB toward $0.00003999, presenting strong upside for those entering at lower ranges.

These predictions come amid a mixed technical setup.

The token has recently seen downward pressure, with a 22% decline over the past month, but its historical pattern suggests it often consolidates before sharp moves.

Technical indicators, such as RSI and MACD, show weak bullish signals forming. However, SHIB’s rise largely depends on renewed retail enthusiasm and market-wide sentiment.

Mutuum Finance (MUTM)

While SHIB’s potential relies heavily on speculation, Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is gaining attention for entirely different reasons.

Currently priced at $0.02, this DeFi-focused token is aiming for a listing price of $0.06, but some analysts now forecast it could climb to $1 by September 2025.

That would represent a 4,900% increase from the current presale price—a return that’s hard to ignore.

To break it down: if an investor commits $1,200 at $0.02, they would receive 60,000 MUTM tokens.

When MUTM reaches the $1 target, that same investment would be worth $60,000.

This kind of potential is what’s creating real momentum around the presale, which has already raised over $4.6 million and is closing in on 70% completion of its third phase.

Once the next phase begins, the price will rise by 25%, making this current window more attractive for early participation.

What Is Mutuum Finance building?

Mutuum Finance is not another meme-based project. Instead, it’s a decentralized, non-custodial lending and borrowing platform that allows users to supply crypto assets, earn passive income, or access liquidity without having to sell long-term holdings.

The system supports both individual and pooled lending approaches, and its smart contracts handle every transaction on-chain for full transparency.

At the core of the ecosystem is mtTokens, which users receive when they deposit assets.

These tokens reflect the user’s share of the liquidity pool and automatically increase in redeemable value as interest builds, allowing users to earn while maintaining access to their funds.

Borrowers, meanwhile, must lock overcollateralized assets, ensuring the system stays secure and capital-efficient.

In addition to lending and borrowing, the protocol plans to introduce an overcollateralized stablecoin, further increasing its platform utility.

This stablecoin will be minted directly from collateral within the system and burned upon repayment, helping stabilize its supply and demand mechanics.

On top of that, Mutuum operates a buy-and-distribute model, using a portion of platform fees to purchase MUTM from the open market and redistribute it to active users—creating long-term buy pressure.

With the beta version of the platform scheduled to launch around the same time as the token goes live, investors will gain access to a working product from day one.

This reduces the usual lag between investment and utility and makes the token more attractive for both short-term gains and long-term holding.

While SHIB’s potential 300% surge has its place in the speculative market narrative, Mutuum Finance offers a grounded alternative with measurable growth paths.

With a working protocol, a growing presale, and token utility already mapped out, MUTM is not just targeting $1—it’s laying the foundation to sustain it.

For those evaluating where to deploy capital before Q3 kicks off, this may be the most strategic opportunity still under the radar.
