6 best crypto to buy ahead of Litecoin, Hedera, Solana ETF approvals

by February 4, 2025
written by February 4, 2025

Cryptocurrency prices have rebounded this week after the tariff risks eased, with Donald Trump approving a 30-day extension. Bitcoin has jumped above $100,000,  while the market cap of all coins jumped to over $3.5 trillion.

Cryptocurrency prices have a key catalyst ahead: the potential Litecoin, Hedera Hashgraph, Solana, and XRP ETF approvals. Polymarket odds of these funds have jumped in the past few weeks, with Litecoin ones being over 80%. The SEC has hinted that it will approve more ETFs after approving Bitcoin and Ethereum funds in 2023.

Best crypto to buy ahead of ETF approvals

Aptos (APT)

Aptos is one of the best crypto to buy ahead of these ETF approvals. It is a leading blockchain network that is gaining traction among developers. A key benefit is that it has better numbers than Sui, a crypto project that is doing relatively well. Aptos has 54 dApps and a total value locked (TVL) of over $866 million and over $797 million in stablecoin valuation.

Avalanche (AVAX)

Avalanche is another good crypto to buy ahead of the LTC and Solana ETF approvals. It is a leading player in the blockchain industry, housing popular dApps like AAVE, Benqi, GMX, and Blackrock’s BUIDL.

Avalanche price has a potential to replicate Solana’s success in areas like Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and meme coins. It hopes that the recent Avalanche 9,000 upgrade will help to boost this growth.

Avalanche9,000 made it a better place to build crypto project on its network. It also reduced the C-Chain fees and removed capital requirements for L1 validators. Therefore, the AVAX price may rebound in the coming months as hopes of an AVAX ETF rise.

Cardano (ADA)

Cardano is a top crypto to buy ahead of the XRP, LTC, and Hedera ETF approval this year because the SEC’s approval of an ADA fund is highly likely. Polymarket has placed the possibility of this approval at about 80% this year.

Cardano has other catalysts as well. Charles Hoskinson has hinted that the network will create more partnerships this year, including with Chainlink. It has also become the first fully decentralized crypto project with a constitution. Cardano is also seeing substantial developer activity, a positive catalyst.

Chainlink (LINK)

Chainlink is a good crypto to buy and hold. It is the largest player in the oracle industry, supporting top players like  AAVE and Uniswap. Most notably, Chainlink is part of Donald Trump’s World Liberty Financial (WLFI) project.

Chainlink price has also become the biggest Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization industry player. It has inked deals with top companies like UBS, Coinbase, and Swift, which will use its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP).

Further, Chainlink is a Made in USA crypto project with high odds of getting a spot LINK ETF approval later this year.

Stellar (XLM)

Stellar is a top crypto to buy ahead of the Litecoin, Hedera, and XRP ETF approval. It is a top made in USA crypto project that is often seen as an alternative to Ripple, the popular payment-focused coin.

Stellar is more likely to receive spot ETF approval later this year, which will lead to more inflows this year. It also has a long record of tracking Ripple’s performance. For example, its price surged by over 500% in November as Ripple soared by about 400%.

Stellar has also inked major partnerships that will push its price higher. Some of the top partnerships are with Franklin Templeton and MoneyGram.

Uniswap (UNI)

Uniswap is another top crypto to buy this year. It is the biggest player in the DEX industry, where it competes with popular names like Raydium, PancakeSwap, and Sushi. The SEC will likey withdraw its lawsuit against Uniswap and even approve a spot UNI ETF. Also, the developers are about to launch UniChain, a dedicated layer-2 network that will boost utility to the network.

Other top cryptocurrencies to buy

The other blue-chip cryptocurrencies to buy ahead of the ETF approvals are Polkadot, Monero, Alchemy Pay, Hyperliquid, and Aerodrome Finance.
